Nowy program dla naukowc\u00f3w z Ukrainy ju\u017c otwarty<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Biuro Wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy z Zagranic\u0105 PAN informuje, \u017ce Polska Akademia Nauk we wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy z partnerami mi\u0119dzynarodowymi otwiera nab\u00f3r wniosk\u00f3w do nowego programu wsparcia naukowc\u00f3w z Ukrainy.<\/p>\n

Naukowcy b\u0119d\u0105 mogli prowadzi\u0107 badania w sieci jednostek naukowych PAN przez okres maksymalnie trzech lat. Zak\u0142adany roczny bud\u017cet wyniesie do 200 tys. dolar\u00f3w na grup\u0119 badawcz\u0105, czyli 600 tys. dolar\u00f3w na trzy lata. Grupa badawcza b\u0119dzie liczy\u0107 do pi\u0119ciu os\u00f3b. Przewidziany jest udzia\u0142 naukowc\u00f3w (w tym m\u0142odych badaczy i badaczek), kt\u00f3rzy przebywaj\u0105 na terytorium Ukrainy.<\/p>\n

In the framework of the agreement with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine we are launching a new call in support of scientific cooperation with Ukraine:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Who can apply:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The program is intended for scholars from Ukraine, carrying out research in any field of science represented in the PAS, holding at least a PhD degree<\/b>, who on 24.02.2022 were employed in a Ukrainian scientific institution or an institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The call for applications is open to:<\/span><\/p>\n

– scientists who are already in the units of the PAS and wish to continue their research stay after six months from its start,<\/span><\/p>\n

– scientists who have not yet benefited from PAS support programs launched.<\/span><\/p>\n

Duration of the stay at PAN<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

– new proposals: from September 1, 2022 to\u00a0December 31, 2022 at the latest, <\/b>with no possibility of extension<\/b>,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

– prolongations of stays already funded: for up to 10 months of the stay in total <\/b>and no longer than December 31, 2022 <\/b>with no possibility of extension,<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Applications:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Applications (application form attached) are to be submitted by the units of the PAS <\/b>to the <\/b>International Cooperation Department of the PAS before 19 August 2022 <\/b>to the address: <\/span>ukraina@pan.pl<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial conditions:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Costs in the amount of 5000 PLN<\/b> per month will be subject to reimbursement<\/b> based on a debit note issued by a unit and made out to the Polish Academy of Sciences after the end of each month of the stay. The last debit note should be delivered to the PAS no later than 20 December 2022, even if the visit is to be continued until the end of the year. Along with the last debit note, a substantive report on the entire stay is required (form attached).<\/span><\/p>\n

Joint support for Ukrainian scholars<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To assist Ukrainian scientists who have fled Ukraine after the Russian invasion, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) are launching a support program for 3-month research stays at the Institutes of the PAS.<\/p>\n
